SHS students to use MTH Court every Mon to Thurs next AY

The University granted Senior High School (SHS) Director Necitas Sayoto’s request to allow the SHS students to occupy the Mariano Trias Hall (MTH) Court for their Physical Education (PE) classes every Monday to Thursday this academic year (AY) 2016-2017.

Since there are no other facilities in the University that may be used for conducting SHS PE classes aside from the MTH Court, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Finance (AVCF) Belinda Narvaez said they have no other alternative but to grant Sayoto’s request.

“They reserved the MTH Court (on the second week of July) for [SHS] PE classes which are prioritized over other activities,” Narvaez added.

However, Reservations Officer Rowena Dela Cruz-Mercado said the SHS students will only use the MTH Court from 7AM to 6PM from Monday to Thursday.

Narvaez mentioned that other students, including college students, may use the facility upon reservation request at the Reservations Office once the SHS students have already finished with their PE classes.

Meanwhile, Narvaez said the college students’ PE classes will be conducted at the Ugnayang La Salle (ULS) this AY. “It’s a matter of schedule pa. We are in one campus and they are all students of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, so we have to fix the schedule,” she added.
