DLSU-D obtains its sixth 100% passing rate in September 2017 Mechanical Engineer Board Exam

DLSU-D earned 100 percent passing rate in the September 2017 Mechanical Engineer (ME) Board Exam Result for the sixth time, as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering (BME) yesterday, October 3.

A total of nine DLSU-D board exam takers passed the September 2017 ME Board Exam, namely Jhandler Arciga Albay, Arkie Marlou Guiyab Bagunu, Roi Jason Flores Deduyo, Cedric Nocon Ignacio, Abel Karlo Maliksi Mararac, John Phillip Lopez Masagca, Joselle Allain Sumague Mercado, Byron Gerard Ternida Sartin, and Vernie Hanzel Raymundo Soriano.

The University received its first achievement of 100 percent passing rate in the ME Board Exams in April of 2009. The remaining ME Board Exams wherein DLSU-D also earned the same passing rate were in March 2011, March 2012, March 2013, and October 2014.

According to PRC and BME, 3,517 out of 5,098 board exam takers passed the September 2017 ME Board Exam.

Meanwhile, the September 2017 ME Board Exam top-notcher came from Xavier University with a 92.20 percent result, leading with a 2.05 percent difference from the second board exam placer with a 90.15 percent result.

The September 2017 ME Board Exam, together with the Certified Plant Mechanic Board Exam, was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Lucena on September 28 and 29.
