Green Patriots halt their LCL campaign at second place, bow down to UPLB Excelsiors, 1-3
The DLSU-D Green Patriots failed to reign the Summoner’s Rift after surrendering to the University of the Philippines-Los Baños Excelsior, 1-3, during the 2017 League of Legends Collegiate League (LCL) Southern Luzon Conference best of five championships held on December 9.
The Laguna-based squad managed to own the first two games of the series but the Dasmariñas army halted their opponent’s momentum after changing their strategy in the game.
Ending the green-and-white players’ hopes for the main title, Excelsior took the fourth game and sealed the LCL Southern Luzon Conference finals victory.
