CALABARZON Lady Spikers mark first PRISAA nat’ls win
As intense as the scorching heat of the city, the match sizzled with a 24-26, 25-11, 25-15, 20-25, and 15-12 card.
“Nahirapan kami mag-adjust, lalo na hindi namin gamay ‘yung court … Tapos … Masiyado kaming nakampante as a team, kasi parang, alam mo na,‘yung kakayahan ng bawat isa … so parang no’ng una, parang ang safe naming maglaro so hindi naminnaisip na gano’n pala ‘yung kalaban namin. Parang masiyado kaming [nagkaroon ng] tiwala kasi alam naming kaya namin,” team captain Cherry Rose Nunag explained about their challenging encounter with CAR.
Continuing the hard-court battle, CALABARZON will face Region I and III tomorrow, April 6, on the same venue.
