DepEd urges hiring college professors for senior high

The Department of Education (DepEd) will prioritize college professors in the hiring process of senior high school (SHS), said officer-in-charge division superintendent of DepEd Imus City Dr. Lualhati Cadavedo during the Fifth Young Educators’ Congress held at the Ugnayang La Salle (ULS) on December 3 to 4.

The order will address the issue of faculty reduction in tertiary levels due to the decrease in enrollment for the next two academic years and the removal of general education subjects in the college curriculum.
