DLSU-D tops 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam with 87.50% passing rate
With a passing rate of 87.50 percent, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas was hailed as the top performing school in the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam for the first time, conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 8 to 10 at the PRC testing center in Manila. Seven out of eight DLSU-D board exam takers passed.
After ranking second in the said licensure exam on September 2013 with a passing rate of 94.74 percent and a total of 18 passed board exam takers, DLSU-D now holds the title of the top performing school in the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam, surpassing 12 other top performing schools.
The said schools are Batangas State University-Alangilan, Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila, National University-Manila, Partido State University-(Goa) Gao, Tarlac State University, Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila, Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City, University of Baguio, University of Batangas, University of Northern Philippines-Vigan, University of the Cordilleras, and Western Mindanao State University-Zamboanga City.
However, despite DLSU-D being the top performing school, the two topnotchers of the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam came from National University-Manila, with an individual passing rate of 82.75 percent and 82.31 percent, respectively.
Out of the eight board exam takers from DLSU-D, seven passed the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam. Meanwhile, five board exam takers are first timers, while the remaining three took the licensure exam for the second time.
Overall, only 80 board exam takers have passed among 155 board exam takers. The results of the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam were officially announced on August 15 on the official website of PRC.
The seven board exam takers who passed the August 2017 Sanitary Engineer Board Exam were Noriel Adrian Villanueva Alvaran, Roselle Pallanan Coronel, Jeffrey Salonga Miranda, Aldrich Verano Noceda, Bob Steven Secondez Ouano, Brixton Loyola Paz, and Deo Daniel Guntang Villas.
