Freshmen permitted to wear civilian until complete uniform availability
Freshmen are still permitted to wear proper civilian attire until their new uniforms are released, as male barongs are still unavailable due to costly prices of fabric, as per Office of Student Services (OSS) Dean Arch. Antonio Gutierrez Jr.
Gutierrez furthered that more meetings are being held by the administration in order to choose the proper fabric, as samples such as cotton, blended cotton, polyester, and blended cotton with linen have already been tested.
“Any time soon, magkakaroon na ng meeting to request ng bid or quotation from the supplier,” the OSS Dean confirmed.
As of press time, there is no announcement from OSS until when freshmen may start wearing the prescribed school uniform. However, Gutierrez confirmed that it will be within the first semester of this academic year
“Isasabay na kasi ‘yong uniform ng boys sa pag u-uniform ng babae, ang pangit naman tingnan kung naka-uniform na ‘yong mga babae tapos ‘yong mga lalaki hindi pa,” Warehouse Office staff Arvigel Mon said.
On the other hand, the female uniform design is available in all sizes for both the blouse and slacks, as the female freshmen are free to wear their new uniforms inside the campus.
The upperclassmen are required to wear the prescribed uniform.
