As approved by the Operations Council, among the changes include vehicle flow, traffic access, and parking areas.
Restricted access
All vehicles will not be able to access the Gate 4 road in between the Ayuntamiento and the COS building as a security measure for the Finance Office vault situated near the Gate 4 road, according to Golla.
“Kung may masamang tao na ho-hold-up-in tayo, dito (Gate 4 road) na papasok kung bukas ‘yan … [tapos] makakaalis agad papuntang Gate 1,” Golla explained.
Golla addressed student concerns of having to go around from the Chapel to the Julian Felipe Road to go to the West Campus area or out of the campus, “basically, because we would like to delay people with bad intention in robbing our vault,” he said, emphasizing on the stark difference from having the administration building situated in the center of campus.
On the other hand, the road fronting the Ayuntamiento building and the Paulo Campos Hall (PCH) building is given restricted access for students and faculty employees, “‘di kami masyadong strict dito, nagpapadaan kami from time to time.”
