LCDC calls donation for Cavite Habagat displaced families
The Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) raised a call for donations for displaced families from parts of Cavite brought about by the southwest monsoon or Habagat which started to hit the province since August 11.
Cavite remained on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Orange Rainfall watch, as intense heavy rains caused by the Habagat affected the province until August 12.
The LCDC office will serve as a drop-off point for in-kind donations, such as blankets, mats, hygiene kits, and family food packs that is good for 2 days, consisting of kilos of rice, easy-open canned goods, and instant coffee or milk
Cash donations are also accepted through the University’s Accounting Office cashiers under the account name: LCDC Relief and Disaster Fund.
