In an online interview, Minstrels of St. La Salle and DLSU-D Chorale member Justin Sese expresses his gratitude upon learning about their victory, “Sobrang sarap sa feeling ng manalo dito since ito ang first international competition outside the country kasi we are not just carrying the name of (De) La Salle but representing the whole Philippines. We (Minstrels of St. La Salle and DLSU-D Chorale) thank all the people who supported us sa journey namin, thank you Lord and para ito sa Korong Pilipino!”
According to website of The Singapore International Choral Festival, the annual event which started in 2014 aims to “provide a platform for cultural exchange through choral music, give opportunity to participants to immerse in the vast cultural richness of the international choral scene, and benefit Singapore’s local music scene and inspire greater participation in the arts.”
The 5th Singapore International Choral Festival will be held on July 19 to 22 next year.
