Region 4-A cagebelles kick off PRISAA nat’ls with a win against Region 3

As the Private Schools Athletic Association hard-court queens return to the nationals stage, the Region 4-A CALABARZON cagebelles thrashed Region 3 Central Luzon in a dominant 78-54 score held yesterday evening at the Notre Dame of Marbel University Gymnasium, April 5.

Alarmed by Region 3’s comeback plan in the third quarter, Region 4-A’s upgraded defense shattered Central Luzon’s hope to shift the momentum as CALABARZON gathered superior 26 points before the game ended.

 

“Nag-step up ‘yung depensa namin [no’ng fourth quarter]. ‘Yon lang naman ang key sa paglalaro namin, depensa ‘yung magpapanalo sa amin,” Region 4-A coach Tito Reyes said.

CALABARZON will continue their nationals quest against Central Visayas and Cagayan Valley region later in the afternoon, April 6, in the same venue.
