Patriots sweep elims in PRISAA ’15 volleyball tourney
Gaining a twice-to-beat advantage in the championships, the DLSU-D volleyball teams remain unscathed as they both pulled a 2-0 slate in the Private Schools Athletics Association (PRISAA) – Provincials volleyball league held at the Ugnayang La Salle (ULS) yesterday, November 29.

The Patriot spikers stunned the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta – Molino (UPHSD-M) in a breathtaking five-setter game, 25-12, 25-16, 22-25, 20-25, and 18-16.
Patriot Aidam Adam spearheaded the green-and-white squad after finishing with 24 points, 16 of which came from attacks while the eight points were from his lethal service aces.
Eddiemar Kasim and Bryan Castro’s consecutive powerful blocks brought the Patriots to victory after forcing two deuce plays in the nail-biting deciding set, 18-16.
Meanwhile, the lady Patriots nipped the University of Perpetual Help System Jonelta – GMA (UPHSJ-GMA) Blue Saints with 22-25, 25-17, 25-19, and 27-25 tallies.
